Tapit for starter profiles, drywall screws, self-drilling screws and wood fixings. Fixing components to the substrate and assembling dry construction systems.
Tapit for starter profiles, drywall screws, self-drilling screws and wood fixings. Fixing components to the substrate and assembling dry construction systems.
Wkręt-met and Klimas brands. Validated technical compliance. Technical data sheets available for download.
The fixings attach the starter profiles to the façade support, mount plasterboard structures and connect wooden elements. They are different from ETICS dowels, which specifically fix insulation boards.
Tapit is the reference fixing for ETICS starter profiles: it fixes the profile to the support with a maximum spacing of 30 cm between fixing points.
The choice of fixing depends on two variables: the component to be fixed and the material of the support. Tapit 6×25 mm for profiles on standard supports. Tapit 6×37 mm for supports with irregularities or when spacers are used. Fine thread drywall screws for metal profiles up to 0.7 mm, coarse thread for wood.
Self-drilling for metal profiles thicker than 0.7 mm, without the need for pre-drilling.
Tapit Wkręt-met, drywall screws, self-drilling screws, wood fixings and accessories. Selection by type of application and target material.
Reference for fixing ETICS starter profiles to the substrate
Fine thread for metal profiles, coarse thread for wood. Trumpet head
Integrated drill bit for metal profiles over 0.7 mm
The starter profile is fixed to the support with a tapit every 30 cm maximum. The size of the tapit (6×25 mm or 6×37 mm) depends on the thickness of the profile and the characteristics of the support. In the case of supports with irregularities, spacers are used between the profile and the wall, requiring a longer tapit.
Fixing the profiles to the support precedes gluing the insulation boards. The levelling of the profiles must be checked before starting to apply the insulation.
The 2rf range includes fixings for ETICS, drywall, wood and general construction applications. Brands Wkręt-met and Klimas.
Reference fixing for ETICS starter profiles to the façade support.
Dimensions 6×25 mm and 6×37 mm. Validated compatibility with starter profiles in the 2rf range and with ETICS systems currently on the Portuguese market. Fixing by percussion or screwing according to model and support.
Boxes of 200 units.
General fixing of profiles and accessories to the support under normal conditions.
Alternative to Wkręt-met tapit for situations without high load requirements. Application by percussion. Standard dimensions 6×25 mm and 6×37 mm compatible with standard starter profiles.
Boxes of 200 units.
Fixing plasterboard to metal profiles and wooden structures.
Fine thread for fixing to metal profiles up to 0.7 mm thick. Coarse thread for fixing to wooden structures. Trumpet head (Phillips) for shallow finishing without damaging the surface of the board. The length must allow at least 10 mm of penetration beyond the thickness of the board.
Lengths from 25 to 55 mm. Boxes of 500 and 1000 units.
Fixing to metal profiles thicker than 0.7 mm, without pre-drilling.
Integrated drill bit that drills into the metal during screwing. Eliminates the need for pre-drilling and the risk of misalignment. Suitable for fixing metal profiles together, assembling support structures and dry construction applications.
Sold in packs. Diameters and lengths as per reference.
Screws for timber structures: beams, battens, slats and frames.
Thread and tip designed to penetrate wood without splitting the material. Includes Wkręt-met carpentry screws for connecting load-bearing elements and standard screws for additional fixings in laths and battens.
Sold in packs. Lengths and diameters as per reference.
Fixings for specific applications outside the standard categories.
Screws with special characteristics for work situations requiring strength, size or configuration not available in the current ranges.
Sold by the unit or in packs. Specifications as per reference.
Fixings in small quantity packs for one-off applications.
Pre-packaged fixing kits for specific uses and small quantities. Suitable for repairs, small interventions and applications that don't justify the purchase of complete boxes.
Blisters and small quantity packs.

Tapit 6×25 mm for standard brackets. Tapit 6×37 mm when spacers are used. Maximum spacing of 30 cm between fixings. Fix to the support before gluing the boards.

Fine thread for metal profiles up to 0.7 mm. Coarse thread for wood. Minimum penetration of 10 mm beyond the thickness of the plasterboard.

Self-drilling for metal profiles over 0.7 mm. Integrated drill tip does not require pre-drilling. Diameter selection according to expected load.
The fixings secure the components to the bracket.
These components ensure that the insulation is protected, framed and fixed.
The tapit fixes the starter profiles to the façade support. The ETICS dowel fixes the insulation boards to the substrate. These are components with different functions, applied at different stages of the work.
Tapit 6×25 mm for profiles on standard supports. Tapit 6×37 mm when spacers are used or the support has irregularities. Maximum spacing between fixings: 30 cm.
Fine thread for fixing to metal profiles up to 0.7 mm thick. Coarse thread for fixing to wooden structures. The fine thread grips the thin metal; the coarse thread grips the wood fibre.
When fixing to metal profiles thicker than 0.7 mm. The drill bit pierces the metal during screwing, eliminating the need for pre-drilling.
The tapits follow standard dimensions (6 mm in diameter) and are compatible with the profiles and systems currently on the Portuguese market.
